How Taking a Weekly Life Tracker Helped Me Prioritize My Goals
Life can be scary if you don’t know where your focus is in life. With notifications always popping up your life is never clear where you really want to be at what is important to you in the big picture. But tracking your life in weeks has been a game changer. Here’s how I use it to stay focused, prioritize my goals and have made better decisions in the long run.
How Life Tracking Helped Prioritize My Goals
Here are few points that help to prioritize your goals in a unique way. These points are based on the mix-up of our existing customers.
1. Staying Focused
How tracking your life in weeks has made you more organized: A. I keep track of my life in weeks. And I write down my goals for each week. And I prioritize them. To not get lost thinking about things around me or losing track of my life in general. To always have a roadmap for my life so I am still making progress every week towards my goals.
2. Accountability
Writing down my goals each week has made me more accountable. Because once I make a commitment to something I’m more likely to stick to that commitment. Every time I look back at my goals at the end of the month I can see where I’ve been doing well and where I need to work on in order to be able to do it again next month.
3. Identifying Patterns
I have been keeping track of my life for the past two weeks. I started to notice patterns in how I behave. I already knew I had a ''habit'' in which I had time hog. Now that I know this pattern I can start changing things around (including breaking things down into smaller chunks to make sure I don't overwhelm myself).
4. Celebrating Progress
One of the things that I love about tracking my life is to be able to celebrate the small victories. I take a minute at the end of every week and reflect on how I have done and felt like I have been successful. That helps me to feel more confident and motivated to keep working toward my big goals.
5. Prioritizing Time
I started to keep track of my life in weeks. So basically if I look at my progress I know which tasks/goals were bigger priority and work on those first.
Tracking my life in weeks has really changed how I prioritize my goals. Having a way to track my progress allows me to keep my eyes on the prize and stay on track to my goals.
